Well, I will first start by saying I am not a 9/11 conspiracy theorist, because I only have questions, and not answers. I do however have a friend, who is absolutely obsessed with 9/11. He makes a hobby out of debunking 9/11 truth seekers over at www.9/11truthiness.com . He is smart, sincere, and I feel completely wrong to attack people who simply ask questions. Granted, some of these questions asked in that crowd of folkare absurd. I too, over the years have asked questions about Building 7, the PDB report, the evidence at the Pentagon, the reading of my pet goat on that exact morning, and of course the following 9 minutes that followed. As Andrew Card pointed in this op-ed http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2002/09/11/MN911voice03.DTL&hw=andrew+card&sn=002&sc=899
He informed the President without alarming the children, the President excused himself, and left. We know that considerable minutes passed and Little George sat like a scared schoolkid, most of us did watching television or listening to radio. There is my only answer to the never ending question. Was it incompetence? I don't know. Were we attacked by our own Government? No, we were attacked by terrorists...but did our government allow it? I don't know. Tom Daschle and many members of both parties have stated that due to cost restraints a proper investigation could not be completed, that is sad. There are unanswered questions from this White House, there is a weak group of reporters and then there is the Project For a New American Century crowd. As, I stated, I know we were attacked by terrorists, and the arrogance, timing, lying and incompetence are open-ended questions. So, the author at truthiness believes science debunks all the questioners? Is lying a science? conveniently being on vacation or in reading class a coincidence? I don't know. But to attack all of the theorists due to absurd questions by some is plain stupid, and offensive! I applaud the folks who ask tough questions, stupid or not, we want truth and honesty. Vulgar language, science and arrogance to not solve the issue for me...honesty does (although, it seems only Jesus and Satan will receive that info).
I am not obsessed with 9/11 per say but I do have a low tolerance for bullshit, and there is no lack of bull in the 9/11 truth people. It's the same old conspiracy theorist crap that has been going around for 40 years. Mostly started with the JFK thing, UFO, Area 51, New World Order, Fluoridation, and the rest of that fear mongering sold to the simple of mind.
ReplyDeleteYou will note many of the "Inside Job" crackpots got started with as "Grassy Knoll" wackos. Just look up Jim Marrs and tell me he has not got some serious mental issues with his Aliens from Mars and Chemtrails obsessions?
So my QUESTION becomes "Why are these people so nuts?" "Why do they have the facts so wrong?"
It is obvious why this stuff is promoted as "just asking questions", By questioning you don't have to come up with REAL facts. When their theories run up against debunking they can say, "I didn't say that, I was only asking questions" I see it all the time with these guys.
And of course the QUESTION are not asked with the spirit of getting real answers but are framed as accusations. It's agenda driven political posturing. Tell me, how long have you been a member of Al Qieda? Just asking a question.
So where is your PROOF Bush and others in his administration knew 9/11 was going to happen? Real proof, not I don't know it didn't happen.
You will be happy to know I have found the truth about 9/11....... Whould You Believe???? Kaos Did It!

“In the case of the WTC, the criminals spilled the beans in episode 52 of “Get Smart,” entitled “Smart Fit the Battle of Jericho” (whatever that means) which was initially aired on Saturday, February 18, 1967 at 8:30 P.M. on NBC. In this episode, a Kaos front, the Joshua Construction Company, is run by Kaos agent Frank Lloyd Joshua. Their buildings have a bad habit of blowing up. The Chief, head of Control, gives Smart his orders to infiltrate the company and find out how they were hiding nitroglycerine used to blow up the buildings. I was still half-asleep and had failed to grasp the episode’s significance until the point where Smart infiltrates a construction site and picks up a brick, only to discover it is hollow. He then realizes that they were hiding the nitroglycerine in the hollow bricks. After seeing this, it hit me like a ton of (nitro-filled) bricks, “Of course, they blew up the WTC by putting explosives in during construction!”
I still say 99 is one HOT dish.
