Fox News reporter Dan Broderick is facing up to one year in prison. Two weeks ago in Central Park, Broderick cut off a cyclist, and was then confronted by the man. Following an exchange words, the cyclist wound up under the SUV and Broderick dragged him four blocks. Being charged with fleeing the scene, Broderick claims the cyclist was a "traffic vigilante". Huh? Apparently in the Fox parking lots you never see the bumper stickers that say "share the road".
As a cyclist, I will admit we take chances, however, we are no match for a car or SUV. At times when I have been bumped or cut off, yes I am going to mouth off, and no it's not being a "traffic vigilante".
