This video was easy to repost while giving thought and prayer to my childhood babysitter who has suffered an annuyerism and an upcoming battle with hospital and insurance companies. I plan a post on the hopeful outcome as it occurs. Stay tuned. As I spent a day off lazily, I listened to some music, read, and mindlessly watched some tv. As I listened to some of Steve Earle's monologue prior to a live performance of "Christmas Time in Washington", he spoke of heroes. As he states, their his heroes cause it's his fucking song! I would like to add my quick little list. First, I would name my Mom, Judy thank you. You raised me liberally, and sometiimes to your own regret since you are sometimes socially conservative. You taught me compassion, you taught me that there is no race other than human. You taught me to stand up when I see something or someone being wronged.You are my hero. Thom Hartmann is also my hero, he's my hero because with his voice m-f I get to know that you really can learn, really learn something new everyday. Dennis Kucinich is my hero, because he recognizes that we are only as strong as our weakest link. He sees that building a stronger bond takes all of us no matter where you are from. Plus, he continues to stand up for true American values as you see in the aforementioned text. Greg Palast is my hero, he's my hero because he has stood up over and over to U.S corporate media who hated him for telling the truth, and said "fine", and took a job with BBC and got a larger outlet to tell the truth. Linda and her husband, and their mother Fran, their my heroes because once all is said and done, God willing a recovery, will give 'em hell over an f'd up system that puts payment and profit before someone's life. I urge everyone to look around at your heroes, thank them, and listen to them, find out what they stand for or what they are mad at. Then I want you stand up, and get MAD! Watch the video, and keep it lit. Oh yeah, Steve Earle, you're my hero too, you have weathered the storm brother, and you got the wife I should have.
Hey, this is Whitefarms from utube I have never seen a blog before. I'm here now and looked yours over , a little. I like the first utube clip but the one from msnbc I found to be too full of lies. I wonder how a seemingly intelligent individual like yourself can want a socialist society that the left is seemingly pushing for. I have a liberal brother and he just believes the wrong sources of info and I have come to just agree to disagree. I will not discuss anything who believes Bush is an idiot. I have a cousin who flew F105s in Vietnam and I know for a fact no idiot would be able to fly fighters in the military no matter how many strings were pulled.
ReplyDeleteWhitefarms, thank you for dropping in. Bush is the closest example I can find in the realm of idiocy. Although, I will applaud his ability to fly a F105. His judgement and butchering of the english language in the name of "We the People" to be disgusting. I am will to give credit where credit is do, but I am stingy on giving someone a pass just because it's in the name of "Homeland Security". I hope you realize, and it looks like your brother does, that most of what we enjoy in our country was sponsered by liberals. When you begin to confuse socialist with populist you muddy the playing field, and then we end up with a status quo like we have now. By the way, liberal is not a bad word. I am 44 and a wheat farmer with a family. I really enjoy meeting people and get along with about everybody. Let's just exchange intros and take it from there. I am not sure I am the right person to be debating because I am not as well read as you but I will try. I am a conservative and believe we live in a great country. My linage includes ancestors from every war since the revolution and I am very proud of that fact. I did not give you much to respond to but please do. Thank you

Homeland security is just that, I really don't care if the gov't listens on my cell calls I just don't want another 911. Please inform me on what we enjoy that derived from liberals. I kept utubing the night I 'met' you and found Ann Coulter with four or five Dan Rather clips that ,to me, proves of the liberal bias of today's media. It seems that whatever you want to believe can be too easily found to in todays media or internet blogs. My brother's hired man is so far left that he is too much to talk to. He believes 911 was an inside job and I hope I don't need to go farther. I hope you are not the same type. There are so many that will just shut off when ,I feel, sense is talked. I hope will we can be social and visit like adults.
