Dancers for Democracy

A group of strippers attended a vote in the State House in Ohio. The vote was on whether or not an exotic dancer was allowed to touch their customers, and whether or they could dance after midnight in adult clubs. The banner they draped over the balcony, that recieved applause from the House members just before they voted said "Talk is Cheap, Speech is Priceless". The Republican Majority in Ohio's House then voted 73-24 in favor of the Bill.
Now, I have to say, I applaud the girls for taking a stand on an issue that involves their livelihood, yet are there bigger issues they could protest, hmmmm....a war! Nontheless, it was a valiant effort at civil disobedience. The Bill will now go on to the Ohio Senate and to Democratic Governor Strickland, who has commented on the Bill, by stating he has not decided what he will do. http://www.wtol.com/Global/story.asp?S=6526008&nav=menu34_12
