Stephanie Tubbs Jones dies

Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones has died. The earlier reports by CNN and AP were presumptuous, but have now been confirmed. The aneurysm suffered Wednesday while driving in Cleveland has resulted in her passing. Her efforts on ethics, equal-rights, and Democratic values are to be applauded for decades. As an admirer, I cannot let it not be said, as an Obama supporter, that her sincere support for Senator Clinton had myself and many progressive Democrats scared. Her appearances on the talking head shows filled a gap the average blogger and volunteer could only aspire to be. I, like many, will miss her dedication, her sharp wit, and mind for all of her efforts.
