Hollywood Clout's Richard Greene takes on Mr. anti-tax from Chicago. The issue we are facing in the midst of the health care debate is taxes. Gullible people are easy to scare, and it is being demonstrated daily from Fox and right-wingers. Many people fail to recognize that taxes are the price for having a civil society. The talking points are as follows "tort reform", "Government takeover", "it will kill grandma", "Obamacare will be a disaster","death panels","death books" and "it will put insurance companies out of business!" Spot the contradions? It is a "I got mine" mentality that took charge of the debate long ago. Fifty years ago Ronald Reagan was recruited by the AMA to object Medicare, and the right-wingers still dangle the psa around like gospel, however, he was wrong. A civilized country provides safety nets for it's citizens, and provides for the "general welfare".
