A confused right-wing approach and double standard.

While Americans offer their support to Iranian protesters, the right wing is continuing to hammer President Obama's cautious approach. Raw Story has an article describing what some right-wing blogs are saying here . This quote, lifted from Gateway Pundit regarding a video a Basij being beaten by protesters "Get yourself a cool drink... Sit back... Press play and enjoy...It's a beautiful thing!". While the Basij certainly cannot be applauded for their actions in the unrest, saying that about any violence is ridiculous. Gateway Pundit goes to post a picture of President Obama purchasing ice cream with his daughters, noting "What if Bush had done this...".To answer that, maybe he remembers this... "President Bush's response to Katrina"

I cannot say it enough, as a country that prides itself on freedom and liberties, we owe it to the protesters on the streets of Tehran support their fight without interfering, and to use them as a political football to throw at our own President belittles their cause.
