More dirty play from the GOP

In another desperate attempt, Norm Coleman's attorneys are asking the courts to set aside the election results reports the Star Tribune. After numerous appeals, in which judges have shot down, their latest tactic is to not even hear what Al Franken's team case is. Coleman's plea is that the election system is so flawed that a winner cannot be declared. By that argument it appears to me that we would never have any officials in D.C. Again, after both sides agreed to a recount, a review of disputed ballots, and a number of unaccounted absentee ballots were counted. Challenger Al Franken won with a slim margin of 225 votes, a number that has increased in the month court battle.
