Iraq Vet arrested
Well, on September 6th, Iraq war veteran Adam Kokesh was arrested with a few other War Protesters. For what you may ask? For putting up posters the D.C. police claim did not fall uner the restrictions of the city ordinance. The protesters were using wheat paste, which for anyone who ever flyered for bands or protests, this is one of the most enviromentally friendly products that can be used. It seems the D.C. police are under the influence of the new mix drink called the Patreaus. Most bars do not serve it yet, as it is highly intoxicating. It has recenty become a favorite of Republicans. Well, it appears Adam Kokesh and other War protesters in town apparently could not get into the popular venue that serves them, and if you can beleive it, they soberly went ahead with their press conference to promote the Sept. 15 protest that coincides with the human version of the Patreaus who will continue to promote Bush's little war in Iraq. I guess with all the corruption in the GOP, whether it bribes, restrooms, fear tactics, hookers, and lies...it's all explainable now, they're drunk. Cheers!

What exactly is "Patreaus"?
ReplyDeleteAre you referring to David Petraeus?
The way it is worded it sounds like the cope were actually intoxicated! Not a good thing to imply on the internet because of the large numbers of conspiracy theorist types who would pick up on it and think it is true. Remember a large number of 9/11 conspiracy theorist still think "Pull" is a demolition term just because it was sold that way by truthers.
I don't see the cop doing anything wrong, he is enforcing the law and the LARGE group around him are actively resisting, naturally he is going to call for back up. They were looking to get arrested to promote thier news conference and I suspect they would be pissed off if the police ignored them and ripped the posters down afterwards.
Ask yourself if these people were anti abortion protested and had done the same thing would you post it on your Blog?
It also appears they were told not to GLUE posters days before and in fact fined for doing so. It is not unreasonable for cities to request flyers or posters to not be glued to city property.
ReplyDeleteTaped? Maybe. Small nails or staples in trees? Maybe.. But glue? No..... No mater what kind? Would you allow environmentally friendly paint to be sprayed on city property?
They chose to do this stunt and get a YouTube Video opportunity.
